Hamza Castro is a Sudanese musician, composer, singer, and cultural researcher whose practice explores the relationship between music, cultural heritage, cultural memory, identity, and social transformation.
Through composition, vocal performance, field research, oral history, cultural documentation, and collaborative artistic practice, he works to document, preserve, and reinterpret Sudanese musical knowledge through contemporary artistic expression.
